Somerset Minerals LP is the managing partner and owner of approximately 219,000 net mineral acres in the Marcellus Basin located in 34 counties in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Maryland. With the majority of its acreage seated in the Marcellus fairway, it has strategically positioned itself to be very attractive to exploration and production companies seeking to develop the largest natural gas field in the United States. We are currently looking to partner with operators to develop our acreage, as well as expand our position by acquiring additional acreage in strategic locations in the Marcellus Shale.
